A vault is a project, and we run it like one, from the first drawing to the final walkthrough.

Whether it is a residential vault room, a jewelry store vault or a commercial installation, we plan the project, coordinate manufacturing, and handle delivery and installation as a single accountable partner.

FAQ

Vault project questions

Do you design the vault, or just install a door?
We handle the whole project: design, supply, delivery and installation. We are a project partner, not only a vault-door dealer.
Can you build a vault room in an existing home or store?
Yes. We plan the vault around your existing space and access, and manage the build from concept to completion.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Residential vault rooms, jewelry store vaults, modular and commercial vaults, and specialty or institutional installations.
How do you build a modular Class 2 vault?
A vault's class is a time rating, like a safe's: Class M holds 15 minutes, Class 1 holds 30, Class 2 holds 60 and Class 3 holds 120. Modular means the vault arrives as prefabricated steel-reinforced panels bolted together on site rather than poured as reinforced concrete, and that is the whole reason it gets chosen: the panels fit through a standard doorway and into a lift, so a modular vault can go on an upper floor or inside a finished building where a poured vault cannot, and it can be dismantled and moved if you relocate. A Class 2 build runs: confirm the class your insurer, regulator or risk requires, which decides everything downstream; survey the space and the load path; engineer the panel layout, door position and swing; manufacture the panels to the class specification; deliver them through the surveyed route; bolt up floor, walls and ceiling; hang, align and test the door; fit out lighting, shelving, ventilation, alarm, electronic lock and day gate; then test and hand over with you. We run the whole sequence under one contract, so one party is accountable from the first drawing to the walkthrough.
What should a pharmacy use?
It depends on your DEA registration class and what you hold, and the federal rule is the floor rather than the whole answer. Controlled-substance storage is governed by 21 CFR 1301.72, which sets construction and locking requirements that differ by registrant type, schedule and quantity, and your state board of pharmacy and your insurer may ask for more than the federal minimum. In practice a retail pharmacy is usually served by a TL-15 or TL-30, sized to the stock held and properly anchored, while a distributor, compounder or facility holding bulk quantities is usually a modular vault. We specify against the rule that actually applies to your registration rather than a generic recommendation, and we will work with your compliance contact. Confirm the requirement with your DEA registration and your state board before ordering.
